Is it somehow possible to switch audio output between Headphones (front) and Speaker without unplugging the Headphones?

If i change from "Headphones" to "Line Out", it only changes if i unplug my Headphones. But I don't always want to plug them in / out everytime, so that the jacks don't break.

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 (64 bit, Desktop-PC)

Does this answer your question? [How to switch between headphones and speakers without unplugging headphones](https://askubuntu.com/questions/712517/how-to-switch-between-headphones-and-speakers-without-unplugging-headphones) – pLumo May 18 '21 at 11:57
  • Not exactly what I wanted. If i use that, i get sound on headphones and speakers at the same time. I just want to have sound on one of them and the possabilty to switch between them. – AlpakaJoe May 18 '21 at 12:42
  • How to fix that is also answered there in [this answer](https://askubuntu.com/a/1005980/631600). – pLumo May 18 '21 at 12:47
  • @pLumo I did not do that, for the same reason as Robie Basak mentioned: "You shouldn't edit files directly in /usr/share. If pulseaudio receives an update (for example to fix bugs), your changes will get wiped out. " – AlpakaJoe May 18 '21 at 17:27
