i installed kde-plasma-desktop on my Ubuntu and after about two hours i understood that i prefer Ubuntu Desktop . so i uninstalled it but a few of its changes has remained . like icons . what should i do to remove it completely ?

codes that i used to uninstall the package :

sudo apt-get purge plasma-desktop

sudo apt-get remove plasma-desktop

sudo apt-get remove plasma-desktop kubuntu-desktop

Installing some packages can leave minor bits behind, ie. the `plymouth` screen isn't removed because it could create issues if no other alternatives existed; its easier to let the user change it back themselves should they wish to do so. See https://askubuntu.com/questions/2007/how-do-i-change-the-plymouth-bootscreen for changing that, but icons you can likewise just change to whatever you prefer (`gnome-tweaks` etc; you didn't mention release though so this is generic advice) – guiverc Jul 08 '21 at 11:27
