Installing Ubuntu on MacBook pro 2018

Is it possible to run only Ubuntu (not a dual boot) on a MacBook pro 2018 and get all the drivers so that sounds, wifi, touch bar all work, or do we have to dual boot?

If neither is possible, what about running Ubuntu on a VirtualBox inside the Mac OS?

Check if it works in a live session. You don't need to install Ubuntu to try it. And of course, virtualbox should work. – Archisman Panigrahi Oct 25 '22 at 03:33
