If you install zotero with snap on ubuntu 22.10 it is installed with the wrong permission (can not update) ... how to find the location and fix perms?

This post Zotero update permission denied in Ubuntu 20.04 makes it sounds like snap installation should be forbidden as it takes you down the wrong path of having a borken installation.

You cannot update a *snap* unless it has a newer snap version. That's the way Snaps and read-only containers are. – Thomas Ward Feb 23 '23 at 14:58
