My files have the following structure:
Artist --Album_A ----Track_01.mp3 ----Track_01.flac ----Track-02.mp3 ----Track_02.flac --Album_B ---CD1 ----Track_01.mp3 ----Track_01.flac ----Track-02.mp3 ----Track_02.flac ---CD2 ----Track_01.mp3 ----Track_01.flac ----Track-02.mp3 ----Track_02.flac ...
I would like to have all .flac files in a flac folder that is on the same level as the .mp3 files.
Artist --Album_A ----flac -------Track_01.flac -------Track_02.flac ----Track_01.mp3 ----Track-02.mp3 --Album_B ----flac ------CD1_Track_01.flac ------CD1_Track_02.flac ------CD2_Track_01.flac ------CD2_Track_02.flac ----CD1 ------Track_01.mp3 ------Track-02.mp3 ----CD2 ------Track_01.mp3 ------Track-02.mp3 ...
Basically I have folders and subfolders that contain .mp3 and .flac files. I now want to move all .flac files into a folder called "flac"
If the folder is divided in CD1, CD2... the new flac folder should be created on the same level as the CD1, CD2... folders reside (.flac files from CD1, CD2... are then all in the same flac folder).
I know the basic commands like find, mv,cp, -exec ... But how to make a working command line out of it is beyond my abilities. Maybe someone will be so kind and show me how to solve the problem.
