We have a user, who has both Reader DC and Acrobat Pro installed. Now, Acrobat Pro opens at random. The Adobe forum didn't come to a solution. Has anyone had that before, and if yes, were there any workarounds that would work? Removing from Autostart doesn't seem to help, it's also just in the middle of work that it opens itself.

The problem occurs on Windows.

  • Is reader or Pro defined as the default handler for PDF for viewing and for editing (these actions are distinct)? What are the document(s) that it opens? – harrymc Feb 03 '23 at 09:31
