I have a Dell Latitude 5510 laptop with a dual boot Windows 10/Ubuntu 22.04 lts.
Last week, I had to change my battery (I bought an original one) because it was unable to charge. Technician verified it was broken.
I was surprised when just two or three days after this replacement, laptop's led started blinking orange (again) and Ubuntu's battery indicator was making some crazy measurements like "8 hours to be completely charged" or showing always that battery was charged at %57 after 5 hours charging.
The most surprising thing, is when I realized that all went well when using Windows partition: there was not a blinking led nor "crazy" battery indications.
Is there a chance to have some missing driver or wrong configuration? I'm quite afraid of being damaging my battery while using Ubuntu.
