Okay I am connecting to a Ubuntu 22.04 laptop, completely updated. I turned on remote thru the setting screen I also installed SSH. When I connected thru SSH everything is good. When connecting thru VNC or RDP from my windows machine, the Ubuntu machine hard locks and I have to cycle power to get it to work again.
