today I tried to install postman. but the site provides a tar archive.gz, which contains a ready-made application. I need to know if there is some standard for unpacking tar gz ? maybe there is some way where such ready-made applications are unpacked? if I unpack the archive in Downloads, it will look like I installed the program in Downloads. it's stupid ) please tell me where to unpack. thanks !
