First sold in 2008, the Macbook Air is a line of super-thin laptops that is part of the Macbook Family. It is manufactured and sold by Apple Inc.

The Macbook Air comes with a 11 inch or 13 inch display. It has no built-in Optical Drive, so installing Ubuntu on it requires a USB stick or an external Optical Drive.
