The situation is the following. In my Windows 10 (22H2), the screensaver is not engaging, and neither does the system power off the screen after the set amount of time.
After lots of searching online, I used this script to check for idle. I immediately found a usb device that was preventing idle. But, after disconnecting said device, the screen saver still does not kick in and the screen stays on.
Here is a screenshot of the computer being idle for 6 minutes, with the screensaver configured to kick in at 3 minutes, and the screen configured to off in 3 minutes.

As suggested in many places, I checked powercfg /requests to see if any program/service is preventing the screen going off, but there is nothing there:
It is worth mentioning that if I lock the screen (Win-L), the screen does go off after 1 minute.
Not sure what else to search/try, so any suggestion will be really welcome.
