My Windows 10 host ignores the IGMPv3 membership report sent to it from the CentOS7 guest via the NATed VMware network adapter. I would think that the Windows host would either act as a router and send a subsequent PIM-SSM packet to its gateway or simply forward the membership report after handling the NAT translation. According to Wireshark listening on all interfaces, however, the membership report comes in just fine but the Windows host neither sends a PIM-SSM packet nor a IGMPv3 packet.
As an administrator, I have tried enabling the "IGMP-in" rule in Defender Firewall with Advanced Security, but something keeps disabling it.
Anyone have any ideas?
