Gnus: get rid of ~/Mail and ~/News folders

Gnus (Emacs's mail client) creates directories ~/Mail/ and ~/News. I don't want to clutter my home folder, how can i change this directories to, say, ~/.emacs.d/mail/ and ~/.emacs.d/news/?
