Double Data Rate 3 (DDR3) is a type of DRAM (dynamic random-access memory) used in computers

Double Data Rate type 3 (DDR3) is the current dominant type of RAM which surpassed the formerly most popular DDR2 RAM in the last couple of years. DDR3 RAM can transfer data twice as fast as DDR2 RAM. The two types of RAM module are not compatible with most motherboards accepting only one or the other.

CPU-Z says my PC3-10600 1333MHz RAM is actually PC3-10700 667MHz. Do I have 1333 or 667 MHz RAM?

CPU-Z says this: DDR3 4096 MBytes PC3-10700 (667 MHz) I am supposed to have PC3-10600 1333MHz. What am I not understanding? Or, is my RAM only half of what the label and seller claims it to be?
